This week, we focused a lot on clarity, quality of life, and balance. We’ve received a lot of great feedback regarding the unknown, whether it’s items, stones, or game modes. We put a lot of work into improving clarity so you can spend more time enjoying the game and less time wondering what things do. In this patch, we’ve improved clarity, upgraded particles, upgraded maps, overhauled level up rewards, fixed bugs, improved drop rates, and improved the new player experience overall. We want to thank everyone for playing and for your continued support and feedback. We hope you enjoy!

Major

  • Map and Particle Upgrades
    • We overhauled the forest Map with rain particles, puddles, a waterfall, and new particles for towers and enemies.
  • Information and clarity
    • In this update, we’ve put a lot of work into the clarity of items across the game. Now, when you click on your loot, you’ll get a pop up showing the amount you own, where to find more, and how to use them.
      • New pop up window to show total loot owned and descriptions
      • New pop up window to show total hero chips owned and descriptions
      • New Stone pop up that displays primary and secondary stats
  • Level-up Rewards
    • We understand that the level up rewards just didn’t feel… rewarding. We’ve overhauled everything, removing the % buffs and replaced them with flat stat buffs. With the new system, you and your team will feel the difference when reaching milestones.
    • All % increases have been swapped out for flat buff amounts
    • Buffs to specific classes and types remain unchanged

New

  • Heroes now start every battle with their ultimate abilities ready to use
  • Heroes that are ready to evolve will display a red “i” indicator
  • Heroes that are ready to evolve will animate
  • Heroes ready to unlock are now displayed at the beginning of the hero list
  • Tech Tree icon on the Home Screen will display a red indicator when Tech is full
  • Tech currency inside of the Tech Tree now displays maximum value and timer countdown
  • New background on the Tech Tree
  • Obtaining Silk will now allow you to augment a stone, even prior to level 29
  • New “Offensive” and “Defensive”words added to stone holders on Heroes Upgrade Window
  • Silk count now added in the crafting screen
  • Tapping on a stone will now display their primary and secondary stat
  • Tapping on a stone will now display the rarity of the stone and the name of the stone
  • Multi selling stones is now available on the crafting window
  • New waterfall added to The Forest Map
  • Unnecessary UI now hidden during tutorial when upgrading hero

Changes

  • Stone drop rate increased from 20% -> 25% on Normal Adventure Mode
  • Stone drop rate increased from 33% -> 35% on Elite Adventure Mode
  • Tutorial now displays heroes first names instead of their job / occupation
  • Sell a stone daily quest now displays the Multi Stone Sell Window when tapping go (Thanks — Savvy)
  • Enemy health has been increased per level by around 10 -> 25% depending on enemy type, class, and first appearance
  • Set up time increased from 5 -> 8 seconds across all Normal and Elite stages
  • Shadow skill Cooldown Reduction per level increased from .2 -> .5 per tech spent across Tech Tree 1 and 2
  • Level up rewards are now faded out if they are not the next upgrade
  • Mini login Maximum reward reduced from 60 minutes -> 30 minutes of game play
  • Removed glow from Pylon hit particle

Fixes

  • Fixed Star up text being too small
  • Fixed the Base’s stars displaying 1 star instead of it’s current Tech level
  • Fixed Heroes not blinking on the Home Screen
  • Fixed hero stats not updating after upgrading a Talent on the Talent Tree
  • Fixed missing picture for weapon rack on Level Up window
  • Fixed being able to run Mushroom Invasion infinitely on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Fixed confirm Augment button being too dark
  • Fixed the Home Screen Orc leaking into other levels
  • Fixed outlines not appearing on text:
    • Confirm Star up
    • Confirm Star Unlock
  • Fixed muzzle particle being stuck inside the Energy Turrets Nozzle
  • Fixed Confirm Unlock diamond cost hiding behind button in some rare situations
  • Fixed Talent Upgrade window falling off the screen on smaller devices
  • Fixed not being to scroll / grab buttons across all login windows
  • Fixed UI falling behind itself when stones at max and attempting to sell / craft / or access tech tree to increase inventory
