This week, we have a new defense, removal of the soft level cap, and a major crash fix. The ground work has been laid for future patches and new features + heroes. Here is a list of the updates currently in progress for December + Beyond:

MAJOR
- New Defense: The Battlebot
- Introducing the Battlebot! The newest Defense that moves around the battlefield like a hero. It prioritizes enemies closest to the base and has the ability to protect itself if danger gets too close. It isn’t perfect so be careful about where you place it. When no enemies are around, it’ll walk back to the crystal and relax until the next enemy shows up. With the ability to remove the an enemies defense with each shot, it’s a powerful asset to your team.
- Cost: 3 Defense Crystals
- Damage Base: 5
- Health Base: 3
- Attack Range: 750
- Soft Level Cap Removed
- Previously, your hero level was bound by your account level. That cap has been removed now that we see where the balance of the game stands. The level up cost has been adjusted to compensate.
- Crash Fix
- We’ve finally tracked down the crash issue. When a turret was placed just before losing your base, the game would crash in certain situations when the turret attempted to attack an enemy Lieutenant and the hit animation would play on a loop with a 0 frame delay. That’s been fixed now. Thank you for all of your reports.^
- Boss AI Updated
- We’ve taken a look at Bosses and the interactions with your team and we want them to feel like more than a power check. When bosses spawn, they’ll now have a small chance to instantly target Heroes and Defenses before moving to Pylons and the Base. Beware and use caution.

- Boss Ai Updated: Now has a chance to target heroes and turrets
Changes
- Level up costs increased globally by a rate of ~3.07
- Soft Level Cap removed from the game
Fixes
- Fixed pressing re-run and it loading the Beach, Desert, or Snow Maps incorrectly.
- Fixed turret heads turning upside down when the enemies were too close:
- Energy Tower
- Flamethrower Tower
- Snowball Tower
- Fixed red dot staying on Daily Quests after claiming (Send Feedback if you experience this issue again)
- Fixed being unable to scroll loot
- Fixed infinite loop for Lieutenants when being attacked by turrets after base is destroyed
- Fixed an issue for players not being able to level up heroes when their account level was in between 40 and 45
- Fixed an issue with defenses checking for collision after being placed down
